Decaf Colombia AGPROCEM
Decaf drinkers, rejoice! This super clean offering is decaffeinated by a method known as Sugarcane Ethyl Acetate. This is a relatively new, chemical-free process done right at origin in Colombia, and the result is some of the cleanest, tastiest decaffeinated coffees we have ever tasted. No joke. You will forget that you are drinking a decaf. It's that great!
It comes from the AGPROCEM Association in the Planadas area of the Tolima department of Colombia. The AGPROCEM Association is comprised of 61 families growing Caturra, Castillo and Typica varieties. The altitude of the family farms are between 1700 and 2000 masl. The coffees from each farm collaborating on this lot were all processed using the washed method and then sun-dried before being sent for decaffeination.
In the cup, look for cocoa, almond and toffee flavors with a crisp lemony acidity and full body. It's great!
All coffees are available in whole bean only.
We roast and ship Monday through Thursday. Orders placed by midnight will be roasted and shipped the next roast day. Orders placed Thursdays or later will be rolled to the next Monday.
