We are happy to present this coffee from the area of Capucas in Honduras! This coffee is brimming with flavors of brown sugar, lime, and buttery shortbread with a syrupy body and a pleasantly nutty finish!
This coffee is sourced from family-owned farms organized around Cooperativa Capucas Limitada (COCAFCAL) and managed by Omar Rodriguez Romero. The cooperative was founded in 1999 and is an association of 70 farming families in the community of Capucas, located within the department of Copan, Honduras. COCAFCAL boasts a state of the art coffee processing facility and cupping laboratory. The commitment to detail in coffee production is matched with a commitment to impacting quality of life, giving members access to internet, dental care, and youth athletic programs. The cooperative also strives to support diverse revenue streams by producing honey, encouraging ecotourism and having a women focused roasting program, Flor del Campo, to sell high quality coffee in Honduras.
We think this is a great offering and is sure to be a crowd-pleaser!
All coffees are available in whole bean only.
