DIY Espresso is crafted to yield a full, sweet and creamy espresso experience. The components change based on seasonality (like all of our coffees!). Currently, it is 80% Brazil Santa Ines Farm and 20% Ethiopia Celinga.
We recommend the following recipe:
- 19 grams dose weight
- 32-34 grams beverage weight
- 25-27 seconds
- 8-10 days off roast
DIY also tastes great as a brewed coffee, particularly with heavier brews such as French Press or Aeropress. We recommend a 1:15 coffee to water ratio.
We roast and ship Monday through Thursday. Orders placed by midnight will be roasted and shipped the next roast day. Orders placed Thursdays or later will be rolled to the next Monday.
